Let me elaborate more about myself. In case any parents are reading this then let me tell you that I value our tradition of maintaining family connection. I know that this will be a marriage of two families and its important that we share some common beliefs. Off course we will have our differences but I'm an open mind person and I believe that we can resolve any issue by engaging in an honest discussion. In today's time I think it would benefit immensely if both the partner in a relationship are earning members of the society. I'm looking for someone with whom I can have long intellectual conversation about random topics and I really enjoy to have challenging debates and hearing counter opinion. I would describe myself as an open-minded, skeptical and confident person at least that's the impression people get. On the interaction scale I would lean slightly more towards the introvert side but it depends on the situation. I could also keep talking given the right atmosphere and topic.... more I really enjoy mental challenges like playing chess, solving Rubik's cube or any kind of puzzle. Apart from cricket which is in our blood, I really like playing badminton. I have a bunch of Bengali friend's who are deep into music and I started learning guitar from them. I think everyone should at least try learning one musical instrument, its a therapeutic experience. For entertainment, I like binge watching TV series. My top 5 favorite TV series would be 1) Breaking Bad 2) Seinfeld 3) Friends 4) Black Mirror 5) Got (except season 8). There are so many good ones that its difficult to rank them. I like Sic-Fi genre in movies. Old classic Bollywood song, ghazal, sufi type songs are my usual preference. But I also enjoy BTS. The only form of music that I still don't get is heavy rock metal. I would consider myself as tech savvy.That's it. I think I should stop now. This is getting too long and I don't expect anyone to read this part. Update : About my present location
I am a researcher by profession. I had done my PhD in physics and then joined IISER Bhopal as a Postdoctoral fellow...Last year I got the opportunity to visit the Institute of Modern Physics in China on a visiting fellowship..The pandemic situation has forced me to extend my stay here in China...So presently I work in China...But I wish to come back and get settled in India or somewhere outside China...
