Dear Friends, Lakshmi and I matched on Shaadi.com in June 2019 and we knew we were on to something special, from the very beginning. Hailing from two different cities, myself from Chennai and she from Ahmedabad, we knew there would be a few formidable geographic hurdles to deal with. To top it off, we worked in sectors that came with their own separate time zones - govt service and journalism. Having said that, we were keen to pursue our potential, with some persistence and good humour, to boot. We knew that communicating in an honest, open and forthright manner was imperative. Everything we were made of - our values, our culture, our histories, our likes, our dislikes, our reservations, our fears, our hopes, our aspirations, our collective dreams for the future, were part of our conversations. We primed ourselves, at times unwittingly for the hard conversations, ones that often make for silent contemplation. But through these inquiries into our personalities, which we tempered with love, camaraderie, good cheer and reaffirmation, we found the light of companionship. We made time for each other - to travel, to explore and to understand. Every rendezvous offered us avenues to discover something new and rediscover something old about each other. We were engaged in Oct 2019. And we look forward to beginning our life together in a few months from now. Our parents, siblings, cousins, families, friends, and well wishers who stood by us, not to forget, Shaadi.com - we thank you. Glad you stopped by and took time out to read our story. We hope you find your match and your friend for life here - and we hope you work on making the most of your relationship, built on a framework of mutual respect, compassion and above all, love. Like Chris Martin from Coldplay sings, "As we soar walls, every siren is a symphony, And every tear's a waterfall."

On request from Shaadi executive over phone to send request to matches, I send request only to one profile whom I felt meets my criteria and we started chatting. After few days chatting we fell for each other and informed our family who arranged our wedding.

I was looking for my soul mate here and one day I received a connect request from her and we had started our conversation with little chat and finally we are getting married on 2nd of December'19. I am really thankful to the Shaadi.com who gave us common platform to meet love of our life.

I saw his profile in May 2019 and found it interesting. He wrote in his bio"looking for someone who will look after my parents as her own", that dragged my attention towards him with a positive mind. His native was near to my native place, so I have sent an interest. He accepted it in half an hour. As I was a premium member I took his number and passed to my parents. Then my parents spoke to him, later his parents. Our families met on July 7 at my house. I found at first sight that "he's the one" and felt instant connection. It wasn't easy though, as my parents had some objections. A month later my parents asked me to meet him again and decide (We stay in same city on job purpose) so we met, we were clear and decided on forever. Then my parents also said yes. All the talks done. We got engaged on Oct 9th and will be getting married in less than 2 weeks. Thank you so much Shaadi.com I found my soulmate. He's perfect for me and my family. Every one is very happy with the choice we made. All the best people who all are looking for their soulmates .. may you get the best.
Thanks to Shaadi.com for this wonderful platform which helped me to find my soulmate.
