Jessie Anthony & David Frodin
15 October 2013
We met on March 5th and became friends. We enjoyed each other's company a lot. We spent a lot of time chatting and quickly fell for each other. On March 31st, we decided we wanted to be more than friends and pursue a romantic relationship. We spent a lot of time together on video chatting and continued falling in love. On May 4th, I proposed to Jessie over video chatting after watching 'A Walk to Remember' together and signing her a song and sending her a cute email proposal as well. Jessie accepted and soon after we began involving our families and planning an in person meeting. Later that month, I met Jessie's aunty and uncle in the U.S. and they approved of the match so we began to plan my trip to India. In June, I bought tickets from Chicago to Delhi and on August 31st, I landed in New Delhi and met Jessie in person for the first time. We hugged and told each other "I love you" and then went off to meet Jessie's family. For the next few days, I spent time getting to know Jessie and her family while exploring Delhi. On September 4th 2013, Jessie and I got engaged in a small ceremony in front of family and friends at Jessie's home. After our engagement we traveled to Punjab together to meet my sister's parents and introduce Jessie. After returning from Punjab, we spent our last day with Jessie's elder sister and her husband and finally Jessie dropped me back at the airport. We hugged and she cried as I left to catch my flight. We plan to marry as soon as we can possibly secure a visa for Jessie, probably next summer. Then in winter we will return to Delhi and marry in a ceremony for Jessie's family.
